Yeah yeah. I was supposed to post pics and some thoughts on my new camera, but due to an unexpected bout of employment, I haven’t really gotten a chance to play with my new toy and it’s past its return date anyways so I’m stuck with it either way. Fortunately I like it.
Not much to say about the new gig other than when I get up in the morning, that feeling of not wanting to go to work is now due to me being lazy instead of me dreading going into work.
Looking forward to tomorrow. Grand Theft Auto 4 AND Popeye’s two pieces of chicken for 99 cents deal. Greasy XBox controllers and Cajun Sparkle? YES!
O, Economic Stimulus Check! Where Art Thou?

I saw Judd Apatow at an advanced screening of Step Brothers tonight. The movie was a lot better than I had expected. Apatow is on a roll. I can’t wait for Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Pineapple Express.
Also I purchased a new digital camera today, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5. So far I’m very impressed. Pictures and notes to come.
So it has come to this. Out of boredom, I have finally figured out how to properly sync the contents of my address book to my phone. And not just the phone numbers, there’s email addresses, physical addresses, job titles, the works!
It’s not like I don’t have places to be. In fact, an old co-worker of mine is having a birthday party…for her 4 year old daughter. I could be eating cake right now, mingling with young parents and their kids. I could be wearing a silly and colorful party hat, secured to my head by a piece of elastic.
But this isn’t enough to drag me out of the house on a lazy Saturday late afternoon, which was preceded by a lazy Friday late afternoon spent beating the latest Tom Clancy installment Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 on the XBox 360. One six five four eight seven.
Oh and look, UCLA lost. Ho hum.
